Job Summary

The Production Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling manufacturing processes to ensure production targets are met efficiently, safely, and within quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and manage daily production schedules as per demand

Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machines, and materials

Monitor production output and ensure adherence to quality standards

Reduce production downtime and improve operational efficiency

Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and supply chain teams

Ensure compliance with safety, health, and statutory regulations

Maintain production records, reports, and MIS

Identify process improvements and implement best practices

Train and supervise production staff and operators

Eligibility & Qualifications

Education: Graduate (Engineering / Science / Industrial background preferred)

Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in production / manufacturing operations

Experience in shop-floor management and process control

Required Skills

Knowledge of production planning and control (PPC)

Understanding of quality systems and SOPs

Ability to manage teams and shift operations

Problem-solving and analytical skills

Basic knowledge of MS Excel / ERP systems

Awareness of safety and compliance standards

Factory / plant-based role – Mumbai

Rotational shifts may apply

6-day working (industry dependent)
