Job Summary
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Professor of International Business to teach, mentor, and lead academic initiatives in the International Business domain. The role involves advanced teaching, curriculum leadership, research contributions, and active engagement with industry and international academic networks.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Academic Leadership
Teach core and elective courses such as International Business Management, Global Strategy, International Trade, Cross-Cultural Management, International Marketing, and Global Economics at MBA / PGDM levels.
Design and update curriculum in line with global business trends, international trade policies, and regulatory frameworks.
Deliver case-based, experiential, and research-driven learning.
Guide doctoral, postgraduate, and undergraduate research projects (as applicable).
Research & Publications
Conduct high-quality research and publish in Scopus / ABDC / Web of Science indexed journals.
Develop case studies and teaching notes with global business relevance.
Present research at national and international conferences.
Attract research funding and lead funded research projects (preferred).
Academic Administration & Accreditation
Contribute to accreditation and ranking processes (UGC, AICTE, NBA, NAAC, AACSB, EQUIS, AMBA).
Serve on academic councils, boards of studies, and institutional committees.
Support outcome-based education (OBE) and continuous improvement initiatives.
Industry & International Engagement
Build collaborations with international universities, industry partners, and trade bodies.
Organize guest lectures, international immersion programs, student exchange initiatives, and MDPs.
Provide consultancy or executive education in international business (as applicable).
Required Qualifications
PhD in International Business / Management / Economics / Trade or related field.
Master’s degree in Management / International Business / Economics.
NET qualification as per UGC norms (if applicable).
Experience
Minimum 10–15 years of teaching, research, and/or industry experience.
Prior experience as Professor / Associate Professor in a reputed management institution preferred.
International teaching, research, or corporate exposure is highly desirable.
Skills & Competencies
Deep expertise in international trade regulations, global markets, and cross-border strategy.
Strong research, analytical, and academic writing skills.
Excellent classroom delivery and student engagement capabilities.
Ability to lead academic teams and mentor junior faculty.
Proficiency in digital learning platforms and academic tools.
Preferred Qualifications
Industry experience in multinational organizations.
Experience in global accreditation and international rankings.
Strong international academic and professional network.
