About the Role
As a Deputy Manager in a hotel, you’ll support the Hotel Manager in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, delivering excellent guest service, and maintaining high standards across departments. You will lead teams, resolve guest issues, and help drive revenue and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operations & Guest Experience
Oversee daily hotel operations to ensure quality service delivery.
Monitor front office, housekeeping, F&B, and other departments for smooth coordination.
Ensure guest satisfaction by resolving complaints promptly and professionally.
Conduct regular inspections to maintain service standards.
2. Team Leadership & Training
Assist in recruiting, training, and supervising staff.
Motivate team members and conduct performance reviews.
Implement training programs to improve guest service and operational efficiency.
3. Revenue & Financial Control
Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures.
Monitor revenue performance and suggest strategies to improve profitability.
Handle billing issues and ensure accuracy in guest accounts.
4. Quality & Compliance
Maintain compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and hotel policies.
Ensure all departments adhere to brand standards and SOPs.
Participate in audits and implement corrective actions.
5. Coordination & Communication
Act as a point of contact between departments and senior management.
Prepare daily operational reports and updates.
Liaise with vendors, suppliers and external partners as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
✅ Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management / Hotel Management / Business Administration (preferred)
✅ Minimum 3 years hotel experience, with exposure to supervisory or managerial duties
✅ Strong leadership and team management skills
✅ Excellent guest service orientation
✅ Good communication skills (English; local languages a bonus)
✅ Problem-solving and decision-making ability
✅ Knowledge of hotel PMS (e.g., Opera, FOSSE) is an advantage
✅ Strong organizational and multitasking skills
