Job Title: Accounts Executive

Reporting To: Accounts Manager / Finance Manager
Job Summary
The Accounts Executive is responsible for maintaining financial records, processing transactions, assisting in account reconciliations, and supporting the finance team in day-to-day accounting operations. The role ensures accuracy in financial reporting and compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting & Bookkeeping
Maintain day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Prepare and post journal entries in the accounting system.
Reconcile bank statements, ledgers, and balance sheets.
2. Invoice & Payment Processing
Generate invoices for clients and follow up on payments.
Process vendor bills, coordinate approvals, and ensure timely payments.
Track and report outstanding receivables and payables.
3. Reporting & Documentation
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documents.
Prepare MIS reports and assist management with financial analysis.
4. Compliance & Tax Support
Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
Support audits and assist in preparation of statutory filings.
Coordinate with tax consultants or internal finance team for accurate reporting.
5. Coordination & Support
Work closely with the Accounts Manager and other departments to resolve accounting issues.
Assist in payroll, budgeting, and other finance-related activities as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance
1–3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
Knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance
Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, etc.)
Strong numerical and analytical skills
Good communication and organizational skills
Preferred Skills
Exposure to ERP systems and MIS reporting
Knowledge of payroll processing
Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
