Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Accounts / Accounting Management Faculty to teach accounting and financial management–related subjects for management programs. The role focuses on delivering conceptually strong, application-oriented instruction and contributing to academic excellence, student development, and institutional growth.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Academic Delivery
Teach subjects such as Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Cost Accounting, Corporate Accounting, and Financial Management for MBA / PGDM programs.
Develop course plans, lesson notes, case studies, and practical assignments aligned with curriculum objectives.
Integrate real-world business examples, case-based learning, and accounting standards (Ind AS / IFRS basics).
Evaluate students through examinations, quizzes, presentations, and projects.
Student Mentoring & Development
Mentor students on academic performance and career planning.
Guide students in live projects, internships, and research activities.
Academic Administration
Participate in curriculum design, academic planning, and accreditation processes (AICTE, UGC, NBA, NAAC, AACSB as applicable).
Contribute to examinations, assessments, and academic committees.
Research & Professional Development (Preferred)
Undertake research, case writing, and publications in reputed journals.
Participate in Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), workshops, and conferences.
Engage with industry professionals for guest lectures, MDPs, and practical exposure.
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance / Management (M.Com / MBA–Finance).
NET / PhD preferred as per UGC / AICTE norms.
Professional qualifications such as CA / CMA / CS will be an added advantage.
Experience
0–3 years: Assistant Professor / Lecturer
3–8 years: Associate Professor
8+ years: Professor
(Experience requirements may be adjusted based on regulatory norms and institutional needs.)
Skills & Competencies
Strong conceptual knowledge of accounting and financial management.
Ability to explain complex accounting concepts clearly and practically.
Familiarity with accounting software (Tally, SAP, or similar – preferred).
Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
Research aptitude and academic writing skills.
Preferred Skills
Exposure to Ind AS, GST, Income Tax basics, and financial analysis.
Industry experience in finance or accounting roles.
Experience with outcome-based education (OBE) and digital learning tools.
