Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and result-oriented Sales Executive with at least 3 years of experience in hotel sales. The candidate will be responsible for driving room revenue, corporate sales, and banquet business through active client acquisition, relationship management, and market outreach in the Pune region.
Key Responsibilities
Corporate & Room Sales
Generate corporate room night business through direct sales calls and client visits
Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, and tour operators
Negotiate corporate rates and contracts in line with hotel policies
Banquet & Event Sales
Promote banquet halls, conference facilities, and social event packages
Coordinate with banquet and operations teams to ensure smooth event execution
Achieve monthly and annual banquet revenue targets
Sales Planning & Reporting
Prepare daily sales call reports, MIS, and monthly performance reports
Maintain an updated client database and sales pipeline
Track market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies
Market Development
Identify new business opportunities within the Pune market
Participate in sales promotions, roadshows, exhibitions, and networking events
Support digital and offline marketing initiatives as required
Guest & Client Relationship Management
Ensure high client satisfaction and repeat business
Handle client queries, negotiations, and follow-ups efficiently
Coordinate with reservations and front office for smooth booking execution
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Target-driven and result-oriented approach
Good knowledge of the Pune corporate and hospitality market
Ability to build long-term client relationships
Proficiency in MS Office and hotel CRM / PMS systems
Preferred Candidate Profile
3+ years of hotel sales experience (rooms and/or banquets)
Graduate / Diploma in Hotel Management or related field preferred
Experience in corporate sales, travel trade, or event sales
Willingness to travel locally and work flexible hours
