Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Civil Engineer to plan, design, execute, and supervise construction projects in Mumbai. The role involves coordination with consultants, contractors, and government authorities while ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with local regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, design, and manage civil construction works (residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects).

Prepare and review drawings, BOQs, estimates, and project schedules.

Supervise site activities and ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and specifications.

Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP teams, and contractors.

Ensure compliance with BMC, MMRDA, CIDCO, and other local authority norms.

Monitor project progress, quality control, and adherence to timelines.

Manage contractors, subcontractors, labor, and site resources effectively.

Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and safety audits.

Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and maintain site documentation.

Handle material planning, billing (RA bills), and certification of work done.

Ensure implementation of safety standards and statutory requirements.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (BE/BTech).

2–8 years of relevant experience (can be adjusted as per requirement).

Experience in Mumbai-based projects preferred.

Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of RCC, finishing works, and construction methods.

Familiarity with IS codes, local building by-laws, and approvals.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Project (Primavera is a plus).

Good communication and coordination skills.

Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Preferred Experience

Experience with high-rise buildings, redevelopment projects, or infrastructure works in Mumbai.

Exposure to liaisoning with local authorities and consultants.
