Job Title: Construction Engineer

Reporting To: Project Manager / Senior Civil Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated Civil Engineer with 1–3 years of experience to assist in planning, designing, and supervising construction projects. The role involves supporting site execution, ensuring quality, maintaining safety standards, and coordinating with contractors and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Design Support

Assist in preparing designs, drawings, and specifications for civil projects.

Support project planning, scheduling, and cost estimation.

Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and consultants.

2. Site Execution & Supervision

Monitor construction activities on-site to ensure compliance with design, quality, and safety standards.

Assist in managing contractors, subcontractors, and labor.

Inspect materials, workmanship, and progress to ensure project specifications are met.

3. Documentation & Reporting

Prepare daily/weekly site reports, progress reports, and site photographs.

Maintain project documentation, drawings, and records.

Assist in preparing project proposals, BOQs, and cost estimates.

4. Quality Control & Safety

Ensure adherence to safety protocols and statutory regulations on-site.

Conduct quality inspections and coordinate corrective actions if required.

Support implementation of environmental and sustainability standards.

5. Coordination & Communication

Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.

Assist in resolving technical issues and site challenges.

Attend project meetings and provide technical inputs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

✅ Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
✅ 1–3 years of experience in civil construction projects
✅ Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and engineering standards
✅ Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and basic design software
✅ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
✅ Good communication and coordination skills

Preferred Skills

Experience in building construction, roads, or infrastructure projects

Knowledge of project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, etc.)

Familiarity with safety standards and quality control processes

Basic knowledge of structural design and site surveying
